Book Promo Taping

Rachel Anne and Priscilla | Apr 08, 2010

Yesterday, Priscilla taped a promo for the upcoming release of The Interrupted Life, the book version of the Jonah study she’s been working on. The DVD study  comes out this summer, for those of you who are waiting with baited breath! We had a gorgeous day for filming outside, and Jeff and Jordan of Light and Story Productions made the whole process seem easy. We can’t wait to see what they will do with the footage to make it into a cool promotional tool for the book.

Life Interrupted Promo Taping from Going Beyond

Check out our multi-tasking Linnae, Going Beyond’s uber assistant . . . and yes, we got a little silly by the end. 🙂

Priscilla was talking about life’s interruptions and she used the phrase, “I wish I knew then what I know now,” several times in the taping.  It got me to thinking about the things I wish I knew “then” that I know now….and oh, there are many. Like the fact that letting your baby cry herself to sleep won’t irreparably harm her. That adolescent gawkiness goes away. That a business failure that seemed like the End would be the beginning of something really cool in our lives. Looking back to those times helps bolster my faith in the God who sees the end from the beginning, and helps me understand that “interruptions” are often His interventions.

What do YOU know now that you wish you knew then?  We’d love to hear your stories!
