Priscilla had a “minor” foot surgery yesterday that will keep her off her feet for a few weeks. For a busy mom of three active boys, this either sounds like a fabulous vacation, or her worst nightmare. Jerry will have his hands full, wrangling those boys on his own for a while, while sweet Priscilla recouperates with her feet propped up.
Yup, sounds like a vacation to me.
I’m pretty sure she won’t be standing at the sink doing any dishes for awhile….and I’d take that over a cruise, any day.
But in all seriousness, it won’t be all chocolates and chick movies and tea served on trays for her. No, the worst is yet to come – when she is well enough to walk around….

For a Shoe Girl to give up her pretty ped-accessories, you know that God will have to work in a mighty way. I know Priscilla will be tested and tried…tempted to give in to the allure of delicate heels and spiffy boots…but somehow she will find the grace to endure the race, um WALK, set before her.
