Darlene Zschech on The Resolution

Resolution Revolution Project

Welcome to the 2nd installment of “The Resolution Revolution Project“! It’s a great day to plan to devote ourselves to some principles that are important to the Lord for us.

Click play and enjoy my chat with Darlene Zschech (pronounced “Check”)- the writer of amazing songs that the global church has been singing for decades (think “Shout to the Lord”).

I want to make sure that you heard a very quick yet powerful line that Darlene said.  She said (in her gorgeous Australian accent), “Don’t miss it”. Hear that again, friend – DON’T MISS IT!  Whatever your current “it” is – singlehood, marriage, raising children, your career, your ministry – whatever God has given you to do TODAY, devote yourself to it fully.

Now, I want you to carefully consider resolution #5:

I will seek to devote the best of myself, my time, and my talents to the primary roles the Lord has entrusted to me in this phase of my life.

Post your comments about how you see your own life circumstances in light of this principle. How has this been difficult for you? Challenging for you? Why do you feel like this is important for today’s woman? Whatever you’d like to share is fine and will be greatly appreciated by all of the women that are a part of this project. What God is doing IN YOU is an encouragement to all of us!

We will be doing a random drawing from the names of everyone who leaves a post and will select three winners. Each of the three will receive 2 movie passes to see the Courageous movie. It will be a great opportunity to enjoy and be challenged by this great film.

We will also select the names of three others to receive a signed copy of “The Resolution For Women” book. These winners will be selected from those who have invited 5 or more friends to join this project. If you’ve told others about the resolution, post their initials in your comments below and you’ll be entered in the drawing. (Thanks so much for your honesty!)

We’ll be receiving entries over the weekend until Sunday at 5pm (plenty of time to invite 5 friends!) and will meet you back here on Monday to reveal the winners and get ready for our third week together!

Blessings and thanks for joining the project!
